Beth and Barry's House

In January this year Barry and I decided to buy a house in Woodland, California. Many of our friends have been moving into this community over the last two years. The houses are built as they are purchased, and some design features are optional. We did have a few things added on to the basic floorplan, like nine-foot ceilings, and arched doorways. We had a little 10'x10' cement patio square added to the backyard, and granite countertops put in the kitchen. And my favorite - no tub in the master bathroom, just a five foot long enclosed shower stall! Aside from a couple of other structural things, like a radiant barrier in the roof to help keep the house cool in our scorching summers, the floorplan is the builder's. We have had some fun documenting the birth of our house.
